FREE TRANSPORTATION TO ANY LOCAL MEDICAL APPOINTMENT OR PHARMACY
ELIGIBILITY
Along with being a resident of Grant County, we must see one of the following:
DD214 showing honorable discharge
VA Medical Benefit Card
Oregon Driver's License which shows your Veteran Status
WHERE CAN YOU GO?
Any local medical appointment or pharmacy.
We travel to BEND & REDMOND on Monday, Wednesday or Friday and can take you to any appointment between 11:00am and 3:00pm.
We travel to PENDLETON & WALLA WALLA on Tuesdays. We can take you to any appointment scheduled after 9:45am that concludes by 4:30pm. We arrive at the Walla Walla VA Clinic at 10:55am and depart at 3:30pm.
We travel to BURNS on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Thursday of each month. We arrive in Burns at the VA Clinic at 1:30pm and depart at 5:05pm.
We travel to BAKER CITY on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. We arrive at St. Alphonsus at 12:00pm and depart at 4:00pm
We can travel to BOISE once a month for Veterans who are unable to utilize the DAV van These rides must be scheduled a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.
OTHER INFORMATION
Our vehicles are ADA compliant and equipped with a lift or ramp.
Our drivers have been professionally trained in the securement of all mobility devices.
Caregivers and Attendants ride for free.
We operate on a first call first served basis. It is best to reserve your ride at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability.
